My story
Growing up in a small town in Minnesota, I thought what lay ahead for me was a mundane life full of driving kids to and from school and sleepovers, where I would drive myself crazy always thinking of the lavish life I could be living. My senior year of high school involved my driving around, singing and crying to songs that filled my car about never being able to escape your hometown. I thought everyone else around me was going to have exciting adventures and beautiful Instagrams – and I would be lucky if I ever was able to see more than 5 states.
But then I learned that the most beautiful and fulfilling life is the one where you practice saying “yes!”, to friends, family, but most of all to God, our Father. He saw the innermost desires of my heart that I was afraid to share with others, scared I may sound naive or silly. But more than just seeing me in my struggles, God presented me with opportunities and encouraged me to take leaps of faith – ones that made all of my dreams come true.
It isn’t unattainable, and it isn’t only for the ‘holy’, God has something incredible in store unique for YOU, and it is better than your wildest dreams.
